We take care of insurance verification, claim submission, appeals, and monthly statements so your front desk can focus on providing excellent patient service such as: greeting the patient, scheduling their next appointment, collecting copays, and answering questions regarding treatment.
CLAIMS SUBMISSION
We make insurance easy. You post the procedure, collect the co-pay, attach any necessary documentation to the claim (x-rays/photos/special notes) then we double check and process the claim.
CLAIMS APPEAL
Have a backlog of denied claims? We will investigate and appeal the claim if necessary. We also run a weekly claims report to follow up on pending claims and catch any required corrections as quickly as possible.
MONTHLY STATEMENTSS
By working with MOD Practice, you’ll be able to significantly reduce the open balances on your patients’ accounts. However, we’re also happy to help you send out montly statements as needed.
INSURANCE VERIFICATION
Tired of spending an hour on hold with the insurance company? Let us take care of verifying eligibility, remaining benefits, history, and covered procedures.
CREDENTIALING
The credentialing process can take between 30-120 days depending on the insurance company. Credentialing should take place prior to the doctor’s start date. Any patients seen prior to the doctor’s effective date will be considered “out of network.”
FEE SCHEDULE UPDATES
Outdated fee schedules can have a severe impact on your practice. Not only could you be losing out on income but you’re also adding extra staff time required to make adjustments when posting. Let our team ensure your fee schedules are up to date and accurate!
